MPS intimately met NA members and artisans from the Central Highlands provinces

PSNews - The Central Highlands Steering Committee held an informal meeting with National Assembly members and artisans from the Central Highlands provinces on November 21st afternoon. 

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee chaired the meeting on the occasion of  "The Great National Unity – Vietnam Cultural Heritage Week". 

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Central Highlands Steering Committee, Minister To Lam warmly welcomed the delegates and wished them good health.

According to Minister To Lam, under guidance of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government as well as with strong support from all Vietnamese people, the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Highlands Steering Committee successfully fulfilled all their assigned tasks over the past years. 

In 2016, the Public Security Forces have well performed their core missions in ensuring national security; proactively detecting, preventing and combating plots and activities of reactionaries, hostile forces and terrorist forces while maintaining social order, safety, controlling crimes and  gaining a high rate of successful investigations.

The "All people protecting national security" movement, which was renewed, focused on and directed by Party committees, authorities and relevant agencies at all levels, achieved good results, contributing to maintaining political stability and creating good condition for socio -economic development and foreign affairs of the Central Highlands provinces and the country as a whole. 

For these achievements, the Public Security Forces and the Central Highlands Steering Committee have received good care and directions from the Central Party Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, as well as close collaboration and effective assistance from local authorities, National Assembly members, artisans and ethnic minority people in the Central Highlands provinces.

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam sincerely thanked all participants and wished to continuously receive their support in the coming time, so as the Public Security Forces can fulfill tasks and deserve the trust of the Party, State and people. 

At the meeting, artisan Ama Loan of the Ede ethnic minority from DakLak province expressed her delight at visiting the Capital City of Hanoi and gratitude to the Public Security Ministry and the Central Highlands Steering Committee over the past years for their good care for ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. She also hoped to continue receiving support from authorities at all levels and people nationwide for the development of the Central Highlands provinces.
