Public Security Central Party Committee pays tribute to Uncle Ho

PSNews - General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on June 25 hosted an incense and floral offering ceremony in commemoration to Uncle Ho at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh in the MPS headquarters.

The Public Security Central Party Committee on June 25 held a conference to review task performance of the first half of 2020. Before starting the conference, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on June 25 hosted an incense and floral offering ceremony in commemoration to Uncle Ho at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh in the MPS headquarters.

Present at the ceremony were Deputy Ministers of Public Security as well as representatives of public security agencies and units.

In the first six months of 2020, the Public Security Central Party Organization has closely followed the directions of the Party and the State and led the Public Security Forces to successfully implement their key tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.

The Ministry of Public Security has thoroughly implemented Directive No.05 on enhancing the movement of “Studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle"  and Directive No.04 on raising quality of the movement "Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho's six teachings " in the new period and the campaign "Building on People’s Public Security Officers’ qualities of bravery and humanity and devotedness to the people.”

Amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Security Forces have joined efforts with the whole country in controlling the disease. Public security officers and soldiers have come to each household to collect information about foreign and Vietnamese expats arriving in Vietnam during the pandemic outbreak as well as safeguarded quarantine zones nationwide, contributing significantly to preventing the spread of the disease into the community.

The Public Security Central Party Committee promised to President Ho Chi Minh to continue promoting the past achievements with the aim of successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to protecting the peaceful life Vietnamese people and the national security.
