Sentimental meeting with CAND Newspaper’s collaborators held in Da Nang

PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper (CAND) on January 13 held a big meeting to thank its Central region‘s collaborators in Da Nang city in a festive atmosphere of the last days of the year.

The meeting was also attended by leaders of the Da Nang city; leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and representatives of local police departments; and officers, cadres of the Public Security Newspaper.

In many years, as assigned by the Editorial Board, leaders, journalists and staffs of the representative office in the Central region of the Public Security Newspaper has made major efforts in all areas of work, contributing to the success of the newspaper of the People’s Public Security Forces.

The rep-office has also maintained newspaper’s publication numbers in the region and developed a strong network of collaborators in the provinces of the central region.

Besides, the rep-office of the Public Security Newspaper has well connected the benefactors with the poor people in the area, contributing to building many gratitude houses; handing tens of thousands of gifts to people in need, helping them overcome difficulties; and supporting many poor students to schools..

On behalf of the editorial board, officers and staff of the newspaper, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper, briefed participants upon outstanding achievements of the newspaper and the rep-office in the Central region over the previous year, emphasizing the steady development of the newspaper in various areas under the motto: “Humanity - Reliability - Timeliness.”

The Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper also expressed deep thanks for supports and sentiments of the delegates for the newspaper and its rep-office.

On this occasion, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper also handed the Certificate of Merit by the Labour Union of the General Department of Politics of People’s Public Security Forces to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Long, head of the rep-office of the Public Security Newspaper in the Central region.

The rep-office of the Public Security Newspaper at the meeting was also honored by many Public Security Departments stationed in the Central region for its achievements in popularization and education.

At the conference, Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal sub-Commission for Popularization and Education praised the efforts made by the Public Security Newspaper, especially in the field of charity activities.
