Thai Binh Police urged to ensure safety during upcoming holidays

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on December 9 led an inspection team to review the results of the police work of the Thai Binh provincial police.

The working session saw the participation of Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Trong Thang and leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security.

According to reports delivered by Colonel Nguyen Thanh Truong, Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Police Department, the units in 2019 processed 100% of the complaints and crime denunciations, and successfully handled must of them.

Particularly, the provincial police force successfully investigated a high rate of the criminal cases in 2019. They solved 100% of serious and extremely serious criminal cases. Meanwhile, the unit has also strengthened the State management over public security and order.

At the meeting leaders of the local police also pointed out several difficulties in the implementation of the local police task performance.

Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People Committee Dinh Trong Thang praised the local police for their good advice to the province's Party committees and authorities at all levels on effective preventive plans to maintain local security and order.

He also spoke highly of the provincial police efforts in streamlining the force for effectiveness and efficiency as well as its good results of the deployment of professional police officers to communes.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong praised the achievements obtained by officers and soldiers of the Thai Binh Provincial Police Department in 2019.

The Deputy Minister asked the Thai Binh's police force to continue thoroughly grasping the situation and give good advice to Party committees and authorities at all levels on measures to maintain local security and order.

He asked the local police to take specific measures to improve the State governance over national security and social order, strive to complete the project to strengthen the communal police force, contributing to ensuring order and safety at the grassroots levels.

The Thai Binh police was also urged to strictly handle law violations and ensure public order and security during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
