Two more Deputy Ministers of Public Security appointed

PSNews - Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Chief of Ministry of Public Security's Office and Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Director of the Investigation Police Department of Corruption, Economic Crime, and Smuggling have just been appointed to Deputy Ministers of Public Security.

The Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on August 15 held a solemn ceremony to announce decisions issued by the Prime Minister on promoting Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Chief of Ministry of Public Security's Office and Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Director of the Investigation Police Department of Corruption, Economic Crime and Smuggling to Deputy Ministers of Public Security.

The event was attended by General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, members of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders, former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and representatives of Central agencies.

At the ceremony, under the authority of the Prime Minister, Minister To Lam announced and presented the decisions on the appointment.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, General To Lam congratulated the two newly appointed Deputy Ministers on their new posts, saying that the appointment was a great honor for the two senior officers in particular and for the People's Public Security Forces in general.

According to Minister To Lam, the promotion also shows the trust and recognition of the People's Public Security and the two officials’ important contributions from the Party, State and people.

General To Lam urged the two newly appointed Deputy Ministers of Public Security to heighten their sense of responsibility for work, set good examples for all public security officers and soldiers, and unite with the Public Security Central Party Committee, leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the entire Public Security Forces in fulfilling the tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang and Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Party, the State, the Government, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Minister of Public Security for the promotion.

The two Deputy Ministers of Public Security also thanked their comrades at their former offices for their huge supports.

They promised to follow the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces to further improve themselves, thereby contributing more to building competent Public Security Forces, which are able to excellently complete the tasks of protecting national security, and ensuring social order and safety in the new context.
