Vietnam, China hold 4th Deputy Minister-level Security Dialogue

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to join the 4th Deputy Minister-level security dialogue between Vietnam and China from December 16-21, in China.

Deputy Minister of Chinese National Security Wang Yuwen headed the Chinese delegation. 

At the dialogue, the two sides exchanged and reviewed the world and regional security situation affecting the national security of each country as well as evaluated results of the implementation of the agreed cooperation contents reached at the 3rd security dialogue, and results of the cooperation under the agreement signed by leaders of the two ministries.

The two sides agreed to further promote cooperation in a more profound manner under the directions of the two Public Security Ministers and in line with the common perceptions of the leaders of the two Parties, the two States and on a par with the comprehensive strategic partnership of the two countries, contributing to firmly protecting security of each nation. 

Within the framework of the working visit, the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese MPS had a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Public Security of China.

At the working session, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and Permanent Deputy Minister of the Chinese Public Security Wang Xiaohong agreed that the two sides will continuously promote the results achieved at the 6th Conference on Cooperation in Crime Prevention and Combat between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security of China on October 10 in Beijing. 

On this occasion, Minister of National Security of China Chen Wenqing  also received Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and the high-ranking delegation of MPS. After that, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Justice of China Fu Zhenghua.
