The contest was launched on the occasion of the 75th Traditional Day of the People’s Security Force, with the aims of educating security officers and soldiers about the force’s75-year glorious traditions.
The event also aims to build on the people’s trust in the People’s Security Force, and mobilize the whole political system and people to join the force in protecting national security and building a strong people's security posture as well as encourage security officers to actively improve their political stance and sense of responsibility to the country and people.

After nearly 2 months, the organizing committee of the contest received 1,185 entries, of which 127 best-quality ones were made to the final round.
Earlier, many public security agencies and provincial-level police departments had organized contests at the grassroots level to select and send their high-quality articles to the contest’s organizing committee.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security also opened an exhibition with 300 photos and artifacts featuring the 75-year history of the People’s Security Forces and their feats over the past years.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the efforts of units in successfully organizing the contest and the exhibition as well as sent his congratulations to teams and individuals winning high prizes at the contest.
At the ceremony, 5 members of the contest’s Board of Judges were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security. One First prize, 3 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes, 8 Consolation prizes were presented to teams while one Special prize, 5 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 10 C prizes and 20 Consolation prizes were awarded to individual and collective authors.
