Bac Kan Police celebrates 20 years of its Re-establishment

PSNews–The Bac Kan Provincial Police held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of its organization. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Du, Member of Central Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security; and many senior officials from local civilian and police agencies.

Briefing at the ceremony, Major Lieutenant General Ma Van La, Director of Bac Kan Provincial Police affirmed the Bac Kan Police force has overcome obstacles to fulfill their missions, ensured political security and social order, limit the crime rates, replicated the ''All People Protect National Security'' movement; strengthen people's trust in all level authorities and police forces.

Over last 20 years, the Bac Kan Provincial Police force has been awarded by State President a 3rd class Fatherland Protection Order while 4 organizations and 82 individuals at the provincial police department received the Feat of Arms Order of various classes; 6 organizations and 37 individuals received the Fatherland Protection Order of different classes; 2792 individuals received the For National Security Medal and Glorious Fighter Medal; 12 individuals received Prime Minister's Certificates of Merit.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated and praised the achievements of the Bac Kan Provincial Police force and its contribution to the socio-economic development of Bac Kan province, over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested Bac Kan police to continuously promote the traditions of the Public Security Forces and enhance innovation in all working aspects to fulfill the assigned missions. In the immediate future, Bac Kan police needs to effectively implement the campaign to crackdown on crimes around the Lunar New Year 2017, to ensure a safe festival season for local people.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the local police force should actively advise the provincial Party Committee and authorities to continuously construct and improve the political basis, and strengthen great national unity. The force is supposed to advise realizable methods to mobilize people and promote comprehensive strength to build a strong people security posture.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son also believed, with its 20 year history of construction and development, the Bac Kan Provincial Police force will excellently fulfill their assigned missions, reach many achievements, contributing to the glorious history of the Public Security Forces.

At the ceremony, Bac Kan Provincial Police leaders presented Certificates of Merit to 17 organizations and 20 individualswith their outstanding achievements in celebration ofits 20-year re-establishment.
