Building image of the brave and humane police officer in the people’s heart

PSNews - Police units in various localities on March 6th launched the movement "Building on policemen’s qualities of bravery and humanity and dedication to the people.”

* General Department of Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Bang, Director of the General Department of Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance affirmed that, over the past years, policemen of the sector have carried out a large number of political activities and traditional education drives as well as well implemented major movements, such as “Public security forces learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example: sacrifice for the country and dedication to the people,” and  "Public security forces studying and following Uncle Ho’s six teachings."

Via the activities and movements, the staff of the General Department of Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance have built on their political stance; promoted their loyalty to the Party, State and the people; become more responsible for their work, more courageous and ingenious in struggling criminals and more tactful in managing and re-educating inmates of various kinds. Many good examples with good deeds have emerged from the emulation drives and movements, contributing to beautifying the image of policemen in the people’s heart.

*General Department of Security

At a ceremony to launch the movement, the General Department of Security underscored 6 main contents with the aim of successfully fulfilling the movement.

Alongside organizing political activities across the general department, it will organize a profound criticism and self-criticism drive to assess the real situation of its officers' and soldiers’ moral, lifestyle and cultural behavior while doing their duties and communicating with the people and comrades as well as in other social connections.

The education drive on its troops’ manner, lifestyle and behavior will be incorporated into  political activities of Party organizations. Each officer and solder have to be active in struggling wrong views and distorted arguments of hostile forces in an attempt to sabotage the Party, State and national unity bloc, as well as preventing degradation in ideology, politics, moral and lifestyle.

* Southwest Department of Security

On the same day, the Southwestern Security Department under the Ministry of Public Security also kicked off the movement.

At the launching ceremony, Senior Colonel Lam Thanh Sol, Deputy Direct announced 5 main tasks to effectively implement the movement.

Speaking at the event, Major Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Kha, Deputy Director of the General Department of Security asked all public security officers and soldiers, particularly leaders of units, to accomplish every assigned mission, to strictly handle wrongdoings among the force, while praising and rewarding, replicating outstanding examples to build on the image of the police officer with firm political stance and wholeheartedness to serve people.

* Southwest mobile police Regiment:

Speaking at the movement launching ceremony held on March 6th, Colonel Nguyen Tan Phuc, Commander of the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment urged the unit’s troops to carry out political activities to well implement the movement.

100% officers and soldiers should be committed to participating fully in implementing 7 contents of the movement while Party committees and commands at all levels should organize drives to study and disseminate all Resolutions and Directives of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security.

The Southwest Mobile Police Regiment should also strictly observe the public security discipline and regulations of police order and style, contributing to building the mobile police force "loyal to the Party, united, disciplined, brave, professional and elite."
