Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh congratulates public security medical doctors on their traditional day

PSNews - Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security on February 26 visited and congratulated medical doctors, nurses and workers at the public security medical system on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27th 1955-2018).

At the Public Security Health Department, Hospital of Traditional Medicine and 19-8 Hospital, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh was briefed by leaders of the units on their missions of providing healthcare services and managing health and fitness of public security officers and soldiers over the past time.

According to reports, the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine and 19-8 Hospital have continuously improved the quality of medical examination and treatment, and applied many advanced techniques with some of the national level into their medical examination and treatment activities.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh praised the achievements that the public security health units have gained in recent years. He also expressed his thanks for the great contribution of the public security doctors, nurses and workers  to the national health sector in general and healthcare of public security officer and soldiers in particular.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the 63rd anniversary of the Vietnam Doctors' Day was an occasion to honor the contributions of medical doctors and all other people working in the health sector. It was also an opportunity for public security doctors and medical workers to recall and review their implementation of Uncle Ho's teachings to the health sector in order to strive for more achievements in the time to come.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh hoped that all doctors, nurses and workers of the public security forces will continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment of public security officers and people. He also asked leaders of units to pay attention to training and augmenting qualifications and virtues for public security doctors; diversify forms of medical examination and treatment activities; actively apply scientific and technological advancements to their operations so as to better meet the requirements of the task of taking care of public security officers and people.

The Deputy Minister also suggested f strengthening their coordination and cooperation on medicine and healthcare as well as professional training with other domestic and international medical and healthcare institutions. Such cooperation would help the public security health units approach closer to the world’s medical and healthcare advancements, contributing to promoting the development of the healthcare cause of the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Public Security.
