Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi works with Ha Tinh provincial police

PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on September 4 visited and worked with the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department.

According to a report delivered by Senior Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department, under the leadership of the MPS and the local authorities, the provincial police forces have taken drastic and effective measures over the past time to ensure security and social order, contributing to socio-economic development of the province.

Particularly, the Ha Tinh provincial police successfully protected various working delegations of Central-level agencies and leaders of the State and Party visiting the province as well as proactively developed plans to safeguard Party congresses of agencies and organizations at all levels in the province.

They also deployed four intensive campaigns to suppress inter-district and inter-provincial criminal groups, especially those committing "black credit" crime, hi-tech crime, drug-related crime,...

In addition, the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department also strengthened Party and force building work while effectively implementing the emulation movement “For National Security” and other movements in line with the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution 4 and the movement “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and lifestyle.

The provincial police have also posted professional policemen to all 195 communes and townships in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi praised the achievements made by the police forces of Ha Tinh province over the past months as well as the initial good results of their intensive campaigns to suppress crimes and protect important political events in 2020.

Regarding their tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi requested the Ha Tinh provincial police to thoroughly grasp the security situation and advise the local Party committees and authorities to deal with complex security issues emerging in the localities.
