Deputy Minister urges inspection sector to strengthen organization

PSNews - On the occasion of the 70th Traditional Day of the Party’s inspection sector, the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee of Public Security held a meeting with the participation of generations of inspection police officers. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, member of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event. 

At the meeting, Major General Le Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee of Public Security recalled the history of building and development of the Party’s inspection sector in general and of the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee of Public Security in particular.

Over the past 38 years, under the guidance of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the inspection committees at all levels has advised the Party committees of their levels to supervise and inspect the Party organizations’ implementation of the higher-level Party committees' resolutions. The inspection committees under the Central Party Committee of Public Security also observed the Party’s core principle of democratic centralism in performing their assigned tasks and duties.

Especially, the inspection committees at all levels have effectively implemented important guidelines of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and movements of the Public Security Forces; inspected and strictly handled Party members within the forces who had been involved in big cases.

The achievements of the public security inspection sector has also reaffirmed the right directions of the Central Party Committee of Public Security on inspection work, with a focus on the slogans "Activeness, Resolve to Struggle, Persistent Education and Effectiveness" in couple with the motto "Fairness, Accuracy and Timeliness." Therefore, the inspection work has actively contributed to strengthening the education and management of public security officers and Party members as well as to building strong and clean Party organizations and strong and clean Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and chain-of-command of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly valued and praised the efforts of the officers of generations working in the Party inspection sector since its inception.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son urged the inspection committees at all levels of the Party Central Committee of Public Security to be deeply aware of the role and the importance of the inspection and supervision work; grasp situations of the Party organizations and thoughts of Party members to detect and prevent any signs of violations; and strictly handle violations of Party organizations and members in order to ensure the discipline and unity within the public security Party organization.

The Deputy Minister also asked the inspection committees to strengthen their organization in both quantity and quality. The officers of the inspection committees at all levels must have good manner, expertise and abilities to meet all requirements of inspection and supervision work.
