Emulation Grouping 6 reviews "All people protecting national security" movement

PSNews - Emulation Grouping 6 under Ministry of Public Security on April 21st held a conference to review the implementation of the "All people protecting national security" movement in 2017. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and directed the conference.

In 2016 and the beginning of 2017, the police force of emulation grouping 6 actively provided good advice to higher levels on organization and implementation of the Party’s and State's directives and resolutions on the "All people protecting national security" movement; issued a number of documents guiding local police agencies and units, especially those in key areas of security and order, to implement the movement; and at the same time closely coordinate with local authorities, sectors, organizations to promote mass people in all walks of life so as to build hundreds of models at the basic level of crime prevention and fight.

At the conference, delegates discussed the local police force’s strengths and weaknesses in implementing "All people protecting national security" movement in recent time.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the good achievements obtained by provincial police forces of Emulation Grouping 6 in promoting "All people protecting national security" movement.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that the movement made an important contribution to ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety as well as to building a professional public security force.

He also noted that, in 2017, situations in the region and world remain complicated and unpredictable, thus requiring the public security force to be more active in performing assigned tasks and promoting the implementation of the "All people protecting national security" movement. Public security units should bring the movement into daily life so that local people can comprehend  sense of their responsibility and citizenship and believe in Party's policies and States' laws.

In addition, Deputy Minister required movement's dissemination to constantly renew, duplicate and introduce outstanding models of the movement. Police force also need to bring the movement to every citizen, make all people understand and strongly response to the movement to reducing social evils, ensuring security and order in the area.

Deputy Minister also suggested continuously renewing forms and contents of the dissemination of the movement; duplicating good examples in implementing the movement; and popularizing the movement to all people so that they can understand the movement and strongly support and participate in it, contributing to reducing social problems and ensuring security and order in localities.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked V28 Department to sum up all opinions, ideas and suggestions from Emulation Grouping 6, and report them to leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for consideration and solution.
