Good models of the “All People protecting National Security” movement among Christian parishioners

PSNews- Thanks to the serious implementation of the “All People Protecting National Security'” movement, Christian parishes in Thua Thien - Hue province have enjoyed good social security and order, and become safe Christian zones for many years.

Chairman of the Nuoc Ngot Parish Council (An Bang hamlet, Loc Thuy Ward, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien-Hue Province) Nguyen Quang Tan said, over the past years, hundreds parishioners have strived to follow the mottos  “Good life, good religion'' and ''Respect the God, love the Fatherland''. He also said, the An Bang village parish has received a Certificate of Merit of Thua Thien-Hue province in recognition of a safe Christian zone for 5 consecutive years.

Colonel Tran Dang Dien, Vice Director of the Phu Loc District Police added, the district police force has closely coordinated with local authorities and Loc Thuy Commune Police to hold regular meetings with parishioners, disseminating State and Party policies. They also warned people of new criminal methods and tricks to raise public awareness. As a result, many Christian areas have become models in the ''All People protecting National Security'' movement.

Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Director of the Phuoc Vinh Ward Police said, thanks to efforts of local authorities and police to promote information dissemination and to mobilize priests and religious dignitaries to participate in the ''All People Protecting National Security'' movement, many parishioners have become outstanding examples.

Over the years, the ward-level police force and parishes in Thua Thien Hue have signed the regulations to ensure security and order; on time praise and reward priests and religious dignitaries with outstanding achievements to encourage and promote the ''All People Protecting National Security'' movement in the province.
