Hoa Binh police review 10-years of implementation of the building of district-level police force

PSNews – The Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department on June 14 held a conference to review its 10-year implementation of Directive No.3 of the Minister of Public Security on “Building a comprehensive district-level police force to meet the task of ensuring public order and security in the new situation.”

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee of Public Security, Deputy Minister of Public Security; and Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People’s Committee.

The conference’s reports showed that, during the 10-years implementation, the Hoa Binh police have thoroughly grasped and well implemented Directive No.3 and other guidelines and plans of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security on building a comprehensive district-level police force to meet the task of ensuring order and security in the new situation.

All police officers and soldiers of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department in general and the district police stations in particular have clearly recognized the role, position and importance of the district police, so the structure, functions and missions of the district police station were revised more appropriately. Additionally, during the implementation of Directive 3, leaders at all levels actively grasped situations and promptly handled issues arising.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised the achievements and efforts of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department in its 10-years implementation of Directive No.3.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also asked the Hoa Binh police force to thoroughly follow directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the local authorities on building a comprehensive district-level police force while improving the efficiency of all working fields.

The Deputy Minister also urged the Hoa Binh police to strengthen inspection and professional training, and promote coordination between provincial professional police offices and district-level and municipal police forces. The provincial police leadership should also focus on improving working ethics and qualifications of its police officers at the district level and providing sufficient knowledge, professional skills and ethnic minority languages for the police officers who will be deployed to communal-level police posts.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security also awarded Certificates of Merit to one organization and two individuals while the Hoa Binh Provincial People’s Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 organizations and 5 individuals and the Director of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department presented Certificates of Merit to 8 organizations and 16 individuals. All the awardees attained outstanding achievement in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example in the period of 2009-2019.
