Investigate traffic collision causing death policeman

On September 11, Police of Ha Noi’s Tay Ho district announced, related to collision between a motorcycle and a car that killed a policeman, were temporarily seized a car with registration number 30A-669.02 and invited Nguyen Van Lang, driver (29, residing in Lieu Giai ward, Ba Dinh district) to the police office to clarify the case.

Earlier, in the process of performing a regular patrol after 0 am, according to the plan number 168 signed on August 27 by the head of Cau Giay district police office, about 2 am Semtember 11, lieutenant Nguyen Ba Nghi- regional policeman  (27) was carrying Major Ta Trong Binh (38) on motorbike near Vo Chi Cong street, Tay Ho District.

In front of the No.88 apartment, Vo Chi Cong street, motorcycle of lt. Nguyen Ba Nghi has collided with a car with registration number 30A-669.02 going in the same direction from the rear, causing motorcycle and 2 policeman knocked into the street.

Lt. Nguyen Ba Nghi died on the spot due to serious body injuries, while Maj. Ta Trong Binh was wounded and taken to the Vietnam-Germany hospital.

Immediately after being informed about the incident, Major General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Hanoi Police Agency, has directed the Hanoi police to quickly coordinate with the Ho Tay Police to investigate the case objectively and accurately.

Morning September 11, Maj. Gen. Doan Duy Khuong and Maj. Gen. Pham Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Police Agency arrived at Nghia Do police station to share their condolences with Lt. Nguyen Ba Nghi family.

Earlier, Maj. Gen. Doan Duy Khuong also came to visit Maj. Ta Trong Binh at the Vietnam- Germany hospital.
