Ministry of Public Security announces results of PSF task performance in 2020

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on December 7 held a press conference to announce the public order and security situation and working results of the Public Security Forces (PSF) in 2020 and the forces’ working plan for 2021.

Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the event.

During the event, reporters raised a number of issues of public concern, such as the black credit activities, cyber crime and fraud, and methods of tracing criminals on cyberspace.

The representatives of the MPS agencies answered all enquiries satisfactorily at the press conference.

Speaking at the press conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To extended thanks to the press and media agencies for their support and coverage on the PSF’s operations over the past time.

The Deputy Minister hoped that the press and media agencies will further coordinate with the MPS in covering activities of the PSF and encourage the forces so that the forces can successfully fulfill their tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also hoped that the press agencies will coordinate with the PSF to fight the use of the Internet by reactionary and hostile forces to infringe upon Vietnam’s national security, conduct sabotage activities against the Party and the State, undermine the great national unity bloc.

The Deputy Minister also urged the press and media to strengthen the dissemination of the guidelines and policies of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security, the resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government on ensuring national security, social order and crime prevention.

He suggested that the press and media work closely with relevant units under the MPR to further reflect and praise good deeds and typical examples in the movement “All people protect the homeland security” and in the fight against crime and maintaining social order.
