Mobile Police Force rolls out 2019 working plans

PSNews – The High Command of Mobile Police on January 9 held a conference to roll out missions in 2019. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event. Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of the Mobile Police chaired the event. 

Over the past time, the Mobile Police High Command has actively grasped and predicted situations, provide timely advice to the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leadership of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on various plans to deploy forces to ensure security for important targets, political events and activities of the country.

The Mobile Police High Command has mobilized over 3 million police officers and soldiers to ensure absolute safety of 646 targets, over 63,000 special shipments, 27,000 political, economic, cultural and social events and activities. The unit also strictly implemented the Dispatches and Orders of the MPS on campaigns to suppress crimes nationwide.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong highly appreciated and applauded the Mobile Police Force on their achievements in 2018. Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong affirmed that 2019 is a very important year for the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.

Therefore, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong asked the Mobile Police High Command to thoroughly grasp and implement all guidelines and policies of the Party, the Law of the State, and the Directive of the Minister of Public Security on 2019 working plans, following the motto "Active, Exemplary, Disciplined, Responsible and Efficient".

The unit should also focus on grasping, assessing and predicting situations, provide advice to the leadership of the MPS to deploy forces and measures to prevent and fight against crimes, ensure security and order, and absolute safety for important targets and political events and special shipments.

The Deputy Minister also urged the unit to effectively implement coordination contents between the MPS and others ministries, departments, branches and localities while continuously raising the quality of training, increasing drills and exercises to improve the strength and combat capacity of the Mobile Police Force.

At the conference, authorized by the State President and the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong handed the Feat of Arms Order of third class to Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, and presented the Emulation Flag of the Government to Specialized Police Battalion No.2. Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong also awarded the Emulation Flags of the MPS to the North Central Coast Mobile Police Regiment and the Center for Training and Use of Professional Animals.
