MPS launches Month of Occupational Safety and Health

PSNews - Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on April 24 launched the Action Month of Occupational Safety and Health, Month of Workers in the People's Public Security Forces.

In an enthusiastic emulation atmosphere of the entire Party, people and armed forces to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the unification of the country (April 30, 1975), 137 years of the International Labor Day (May 1, 1946), the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948), the Ministry of Public Security launched the Action Month of Occupational Safety and Health, Month of Workers in the People's Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen suggested that all public security agencies and local police units as well as trade unions, officers, soldiers and workers in the People's Public Secuirty Forces are carrying out an extensive political program, highlighting the significance of International Labor Day, Workers' Month and Action Month of Occupational Safety and Health in 2023 with the aim of connecting labor and worker’s organizations and strengthening safe working procedures and improving working conditions, reducing stress in the workplace.

Generally, it aims at taking more care of public security workers and members of the Trade Union in the Public Security Forces as well as improving their occupational safety measures and health.

The Deputy Minister also urged officers, soldiers and workers in the Public Security Forces to respond positively to emulation movements of their agencies, units, enterprises and organizations, promoting creativity at work and striving to successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building their agencies, units and enterprises in line with the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements of the People's Public Security Forces. in the new situation.
