The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Chairman of Project No.2; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, along with representatives of specialized departments under the MPS and representatives of provincial-level police departments of the 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

The general report delivered at the conference shows that, in the first 6 months of 2019, the number of criminals involved in “black credit” was curbed. In particular, 1,178 cases of black credit were detected across the country. The police forces have prosecuted 436 cases and 766 suspects while imposing administrative fines on 486 people.
Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong praised the results and achievements of the police forces in preventing and fighting crimes related to “black credit” in the first half.
Regarding the future plan, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong asked police units to seriously implement Directive No.12 of the Prime Minister and continue the fight against the “black credit” crime according to Plan 285.
The police units should also launch intensive attacks on organized crimes, especially mafia-style groups while urgently investigating cases related to “black credit”, especially cases of great public concern, and coordinating with the procuracy and the court at all levels to strictly handle “black credit” criminals according to the laws.
The Deputy Minister also asked the Criminal Police Department, the Economic Police Department, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, and the Department of Economic Security under the MPS to coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam to seek approaches in support of people who need loans.
