Organization and personnel work should focus on assigning the right people to the right jobs

PSNews - "The Ministry of Public Security is restructuring its apparatus by cutting down the number of officers and workers. Therefore, the organization and personnel work should focus on appointing the right people to the right positions", underscored Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh.


The General Department of Politics held a meeting on October 19th to review its ideological work and research on the public opinion in the third quarter of 2017. Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Trung, Deputy Director of General Department of Politics chaired the meeting.

In the face of the current complex political, social and economic situations in the world and region, the public security forces still thoroughly grasped and well implemented Directives and Resolutions of the Party, the State, and promoted political ideology education under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.

In general, officers and soldiers of the public security forces always trust the leadership of the Party, the execution of the Government and direction of the leadership of public security units at all levels. They were also active, creative and responsible in doing their jobs and strived to  to fulfill their assignments. 

Regarding the security order maintenance, the public highly appreciated the efforts of the public security forces for their good insight into local situations; as a result, they successfully handled special and major cases. Their efforts to assist people in flood-stricken areas were also widely acknowledged.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh instructed leaders of local police units to well manage their officers and soldiers. According to the deputy minister, units’ leaders should always uphold sense of responsibility and set examples for their subordinates.

They should lead their units to further promote information work and improve professional skills so as to more effectively prevent and figh crimes.

"The Ministry of Public Security is streamlining its organization. Therefore, the organization and personnel work must help assign the right people to the right jobs.", underscored Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh.
