Public Security Inspectorate rolls out key tasks in 2019

PSNews - The People's Public Security Inspectorate on January 5 held a conference to review its work performance in 2018 and roll out key tasks in 2019. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

In 2018, the Party Committee and leadership of the Public Security Inspectorate closely followed the requirements of the political tasks of the Public Security Forces, provided good advice to the Ministry of Public Security leaders on inspection, citizen reception, as well as resolving complaints and denunciations, and preventing corruption within the Public Security Forces.

In the past year, the Public Security Inspectorate have conducted a number of inspections, promptly handled wrongdoings in implementing policies, laws and regulations of the Public Security Forces, as well as the violations of laws and regulations on security and order of organizations and individuals outside the Public Security Forces.

Thanks to its achievement, the Public Security Inspectorate has received an Emulation Flag "For Fatherland Security" for Excellent Unit in 2018. Many organizations and individuals of the unit were awarded Orders, Certificates of Merit and many other noble awards.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised the Public Security Inspectorate for its achievements in recent times.

He then asked the Public Security Inspectorate to carry out the following key tasks in 2019: well grasping the working plan of the Ministry of Public Security in 2019 as well as functions and tasks of each unit; and decentralizing the management and inspection, and further monitoring and rechecking performances of the already-inspected agencies and units.

In addition, it is necessary to build a clean and strong force so that each inspector has a firm stance, good morals, competence and responsibility so as to reach honest, objective and comprehensive conclusions of inspections.

The Deputy Minister also directed the Public Security Inspectorate to hold more meetings with citizens and promote international relations to accelerate the Vietnamese public security inspection sector’s international integration.
