Public Security Newspaper brings warm spring to disadvantaged children

PSNews - On January 21st, acharitable mission of the Public Security Newspaper led by Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chiefvisited and presented Tet gifts to poor pediatric patientsin the Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics.

60 packs of Tet gifts totally worth 30 million VND donated by officers of the Public Security Newspaper and Mr. Nguyen Cong Chien, CEO of National Phytopharma Company have been handed to pediatric patients,encouraging them to overcome illness.

Looking at pediatric patients, everyone would feel pity for them. Many innocent children, of whomsomeare only few months old,suffer serious diseases.

Thanks to the love and the care of the Public Security Newspaper, they could enjoya warmer and happier lunar New Year festival at hospital.

Within the framework of the charity trip, the Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper presented 100 packs of Tet gifts totally worth 30 million VND sponsored by Water Investment and Development Company and other kind donors to patients with blood disorders being treatedat the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion .

Major General Pham Van Mien and Pro. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri, who joined the mission,went to every child patient’s bed and presented gifts to them, inquiredtheir parents about their families’ situations, and encouraged them to keep the positive thinking andto well take care of their kids. The new cutting-edge therapy with many modern techniques, including stem-cell transplantation, could bring hope to patients with a blood cancer.

Major General Pham Van Mien also handed gifts to 60 patients of chemotherapy department H7. He expressed his sympathy toward patients’ situations, and his wish to share difficulties with their families.

Pro. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri said, the Chemotherapy Department is the final phase of Vietnam’s blood cancer treatment,providing patients with high-quality and hi-tech services and the most modern treatment techniques.
