Local residents of Son Thanh, a commune of mountainous district Son Ha, have known Lieutenant Colonel Dao Van Au, Deputy Head of the Quang Ngai Internal Security Division for about 7 years. During the time working as an internal security police officer, Lieutenant Colonel Au often lived, ate and worked together with Son Thanh locals to understand the locals and win their hearts and souls.

Lieutenant Colonel Dao Van Au is one of the Internal Security Division's police officers and soldiers, who always successfully fulfill their political tasks and promote relations with local residents.
In 2018, together with the local authorities and police in the mountainous districts of Quang Ngai, the Internal Security Division of the Quang Ngai Police operated effectively 7 models to maintain security and order in ethnic and religious groups by underlining the role of reputable persons of ethnic minorities.
In these models, reputable persons participate in resolving cases of clashes and disputes in the locality, and give timely and valuable information to the police about complicated security and order cases.
In addition to the professional duties, the Quang Ngai Provincial Internal Security Division always pays attention to gratitude and social charitable activities.
The unit in collaboration with other units offered free health check-ups and medicines to over 1,000 residents of Hanh Tin Tay Commune, Nghia Hanh District and Ba Vinh Commune, Ba To District.
The unit also presented hundreds of packs of gifts to policy beneficiary families and needy households residing in Nuoc Oa Base, Security Zone 5 Historical Site in Quang Nam Province and in Pho Vinh Commune, Duc Pho Districts, built eaves for the Ba Nam Commune Kindergarten and donated necessary items to the school.
The total charity activities in 2018 of the unit cost more than VND 100 million. Besides, the police officers and soldiers of the unit have also participated in 10 blood donations.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Vu, Deputy Head of the Quang Ngai Internal Security Division, in the coming time, the Party Committee and leaders of the unit will continue to well perform their professional duties while enhancing the political and ideological education as well as Party and force building.
Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Vu affirmed that the unit always strives to implement the Politburo's Directive on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and style"; the movement "Public Security Forces studying and following 6 teachings of Uncle Ho"; Directive No.3 of the Ministry of Public Security on tightening disciplines and working regulations, building a cultural lifestyle to serve the people; and the emulation movement of Quang Ngai Province to successfully implement the task of socio-economic development in 2019.
