Soc Trang Police launches campaign against crime

PSNews - A campaign was launched to raid criminals and obtain achievements to celebrate the 55th anniversary of People's Police Force Traditional Day (July 20th 1962-2017) and APEC Vietnam 2017. The force also launched the emulation movement "For National Security" from June 16th to August 16th 2017.

Senior Colonel Le Minh Quang, Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police has issued the order and directed local police units to implement the plan to attack criminals  with a focus on dangerous crimes and according to the directions from the provincial police. 

At the same time, they should ensure security and order in the province; enhance on the information about campaign results while on time honoring and rewarding outstanding individuals with feats of arms.

Under the plan, during 2 months of the campaign, all local police units should mobilize all forces and vehicles to strongly attack and suppress crimes, eliminate social evils, and especially stamping out organized crimes, robbery, usury and illegal gambling.

Director Quang also asked the provincial police force to expand the movement "All people protecting National Security" and enhance mass mobilization to promote crime prevention and crime report.

At the same time, the Soc Trang Provincial Police kicked off an emulation movement among police officers to improve their responsibility, bravery and vigilance in preventing and fighting crimes.

Same day, Directorate of Ben Tre Provincial Police issued an order to mobilize the whole provincial police force to deploy a campaign against crimes from June 16th to August 15th.

Earlier on June 15th, the Ha Nam Provincial Police held a conference to summarize results of the previous campaign against crimes before, during and after the Vietnam Reunification Day (April 30th) and International Labor Day (May 1st), and to roll out a new campaign to attack and suppress crimes, ensuring security and social order, and protect national important events, especially those related to the APEC Vietnam 2017, making contributions to the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the People's Police Traditional Day.
