Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee reviews task performance in 2018

PSNews - The Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee in February held a conference in Hanoi to review its self-criticism and criticism work in 2018. General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security chaired the event.

Speaking at the event, General To Lam stressed that the conference on self-criticism and criticism aimed to review the leadership of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee on all public security aspects in 2018.

Regarding the report on self-criticism and criticism of the whole Standing Board, General To Lam suggested delegates focus discussion on the functions, tasks, working regulations and responsibilities of the Standing Board, point out advantages and weakness and recommend solutions for limitations.

Regarding the report on the task performance of each member of the Standing Board, General To Lam urged delegates to comment on their political ideology, moral qualities, lifestyles, sense of responsibility and the quality of their assigned tasks accomplishment, their leadership, and their responsibility for work.

At the event, the participating delegates listened to the draft report on the leadership of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee in 2018; the draft self-criticism reports on task performances of each member of the Standing Board and of the Stand Board as a whole.

Concluding the conference, General To Lam stressed that the outcomes of the self-criticism and criticism at the conference affirmed that the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee is a strong, determined and united organization.

The Standing Board has always promoted the common will and brought together minds of all members; strictly abided by the political credo and Party regulations; upheld and enhanced its leading role in all working aspects of the Public Security Forces.

All leaders of the Ministry of Public Security have been dedicated to the work of ensuring national security and public order and safety, and building strong public security forces to meet the demands of the current situation.  

General To Lam also affirmed that Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc have made important contributions to the decisions of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee, and provided favorable conditions for the Public Security Forces to complete the assigned tasks.

At the conference, every member of the Standing Board acknowledged the opinions given by delegates at the meeting, and resolved to draw up plans to correct their limitations in the coming time.
