Thua Thien Hue ensures security to welcome Japan Emperor

PSNews - On February 15th, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security had a working session with the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police on the work of ensuring local security and order. 

Senior Colonel Le Quoc Hung, Director of the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police has reported the Deputy Minister on work's results of the provincial police force in 2016.

Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam underscored that Japan Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko have scheduled to visit Hue in March after their official activities in Hanoi. Besides, some meetings and conferences within the framework of APEC 2017 will also be held in Thua Thien-Hue during 2017.

He stressed the work of ensuring safety and order for APEC 2017 events and Japan Emperor’s visit to Hue is a very important mission, which required the Thua Thien Hue police force to do well their function as an advisor to the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee so that the province could draw up a specific plan, mobilize forces and  collaborate closely with other units under the Ministry of Public Security, to ensure absolute security and safety for all activities and events. The local police force has also been asked to launch the "All people protecting national security" movement.

Senior Colonel Le Quoc Hung acknowledged the guidance of Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, and ideas of delegations. On behalf of the Thua Thien-Hue police force, he promised to make great efforts to ensure security and order in the area.
