Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended the "All-People Movement for National Security Protection" Festival, on July 25, 2026, in Viet Tien Commune, Hung Yen Province.

Also present at the event were Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, and Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Pham Quang Ngoc.

During the first six months of the year, the "All-People Movement for National Security Protection" in Viet Tien Commune continued to receive close guidance from the local Party committee and administration. Meanwhile, the coordination among the Viet Tien Communal Police Station, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Tien Commune, local agencies, mass organizations, enterprises and educational institutions grew increasingly tight and effective.

The movement was implemented comprehensively, tied directly to local socio-economic development, new-style rural development, and the reinforcement of national defense and security.

It has evolved into a widespread revolutionary movement among citizens, making vital contributions to political stability, social order, administrative reform, digital transformation, and building a strong local government.

Speaking at the event on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang praised Viet Tien Commune for its achievements in implementing the movement.

To enhance the festival's significance and ensure the movement remains substantive and effective, Minister Luong Tam Quang urged local Party committees and authorities to focus on creating favorable conditions for development and delivering the highest quality public services. He emphasized that this is the core foundation for building “The people’s hearts posture,” driving a robust movement, and ensuring the festival truly belongs to the people.

The Minister requested the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and the Viet Tien Commune Party Committee to effectively lead the implementation of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution and strategic party guidelines. He urged them to fully leverage local potential and new development spaces to maintain double-digit economic growth.

He also stressed operating the two-tier local government model efficiently and proactively resolving obstacles to serve the public. Furthermore, he called for firmly safeguarding national security and building Viet Tien into a model disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious and prosperous community, ensuring a really happy life for its residents.

Additionally, Minister Luong Tam Quang called on the residents of Viet Tien Commune to actively participate in strengthening the national security movement and continue supporting the Public Security Forces in preventing and combating crime.
