Charity mission of the Department of Cyber Security visits Thu Lum commune

PSNews – A charity mission was warmly welcomed by local people of Thu Lum commune, Muong Te, Lai Chau. 

The Youth Union chapter of the Department of Cyber Security under the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with other under-ministerial youth organizations carried out a winter charitable programme 2017 in Thu Lum commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province from January 12-15.

Thu Lum is the Northernmost commune of Muong Te district, which borders China to the West and the North. The total area of Thu Lum is 11,289 hectares with difficult terrains.

The charity mission in collaboration with the Lai Chau Provincial Police also popularized laws to local people, visited and presented Tet gifts to policy families, needy families and needy students with good school records.

In addition, the charity mission also held a music exchange programme with local people, students, youths, officers, soldiers of a local border guard unit.

All members of the charity mission delivered meaningful greetings and best wishes to the local people and authorities of Thu Lum commune on the occasion of the lunar New Year of Rooster.
