Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits Da Nang ahead of Tet

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), on January 22 paid a visit to the Correctional Center No.3 under the Ministry of Public Security.

The Correctional Center No.3 currently has 72 teenaged criminals from different provinces and cities in the Central Region and Central Highlands. Of them, most are of ethnic minorities, the youngest is 12 years old, and three are over 18 years old. They live and learn at the center because of their law offences such as theft, disorderliness, fighting, injuries to other peope and other serious crime.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son affirmed that the MPS leaders always seek to improve the quality of teaching and learning as well as the accommodation and living conditions for the correctional staff and students of the center.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the deputy minister passed the best wishes and handed gifts from the MPS to the Correctional Center No.3.

On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also visited officers and soldiers at the Hoa Vang District Police and Hoa Tien Commune Police Posts in Hoa Vang District.
