Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To works with Dong Nai provincial police

Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), on April 22 worked with the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department on the local security and social order situation.

Reports at the meeting said that, over the past months, the police department of Dong Nai province have deployed more police officers to communes, wards and townships in order to well maintain the security and social order situation and promptly handle security-related and criminal cases at the grassroots level.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Tran Quoc To spoke highly of the provincial police’s efforts and achievements in performing their tasks, especially their triumph in destroying a large-scale fake petroleum production and trade ring based in the province.

Regarding their key missions in the coming time, the Deputy Minister asked the provincial police to pay due attention to the work of ensuring the local security and social order and promoting the “All people protect national security” movement in the locality under the leadership of the local Party committees and authorities.

They should also attach importance to grasping the local security situation to actively advise the local Party committees and authorities on measures to deal with complex order and security issues in the locality. 

He also requested the police of Dong Nai province to mobilize forces and means to ensure order, security and safety for the upcoming elections of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils in the province while effectively implementing the e-ID card project.
