Lao Cai Police build house of compassion for poor people

PSNews – Police officers of the Bat Xat District Police under the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department on April 26 handed over a gratitude house to a family living in a very difficult state in the locality.

The beneficiary is Mr. Bui Van Binh in Residential Zone 6, Bat Xat town, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. Binh’s family is in a special difficult state. He and his wife have no stable income and used to live in a small and dilapidated house for years.

To support Binh's family to overcome the housing difficulty and gradually stabilize their lives, the Bat Xat District Police’s officers decided to raise funds and mobilized donors to build a solid house for the needy household.

The house covering an area of over 80m2 has a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and a toilet. The Bat Xat District Police’s officers also presented Binh’s family beds, a television and other housewares. In addition, the police officers also handed over 50 chicks to the family.

Binh’s family could not help showing their happiness while receiving the new house. They thanked the Public Security Forces in general and local police in particular for their great care for the poor, saying that the house will help them stabilize their lives and escape from poverty.
