PSNews brings Tet gifts to 1,000 needy people in Quang Nam

PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper in collaboration with the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department and kind donor visited and presented gifts to needy families in Quang Nam.

As part of the ongoing programme “Tet for needy people 2019”, the Public Security Newspaper in collaboration with the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department and Carlsberg Beer Vietnam (Huda brand) from January 11-12 presented gifts (worth VND 500 million) to needy people in Quang Nam. 

The charitable mission handed over 1000 gifts to needy people in remote communes of Dai Loc including Dai Lanh, Dai Hung and Dai Son. Located within the flood-stricken area, people there face many difficulties in daily life. 

“I’m very happy to be here to receive Tet gifts from the Public Security Newspaper and kind donor. I hope that the meaningful programme Tet for needy people 2019 will bring more happy to other Vietnamese people across the country”, Nguyen Thi Canh, a local person shared.

On behalf of the Dai Lanh authorities, Vice President of the Dai Lanh Commune People’s Committee thanked the charitable mission for supporting needy people on the occasion of the upcoming traditional New Year.

Earlier, a working delegation, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and with the participation of the Public Security Newspaper, the Municipal Police of Da Nang and DTH Viet Nam Company, on January 12 visited and presented Tet gifts to poor and ethnic minority people in Hoa Bac and Hoa Phu communes, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

Each gift includes rice, various necessities and 700,000 VND in cash. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son extended his best wishes of the lunar New Year to all people and hoped that the commune would gain more achievements in the future.
