Under the chair of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, the delegates discussed the coordination between the press and media, and the Ministry of Public Security and its affiliates in recent times and proposed approaches to effectively strengthen coordination between the two sides in the time to come.
According to Lieutenant General Mai Van Ha, press agencies inside as well as outside the Public Security Forces have greatly contributed to the work of popularizing the resolutions, guidelines of the Party, the policies of the State, as well as the directions of the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring national security, public order and safety as well as on building clean and strong public security forces.

Addressing the event, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh thanked the press and media for their effective support and coordination with the Public Security Forces in the past time.
According to the Deputy Minister, public security officers often face dangers and challenges while performing their duties. Since 2015, 65 police officers died and more than 1,700 other injured while serving the people.
Thus, he hoped that the press and media will further coordinate with the Public Security Forces in covering activities and operations of the Public Security Forces, as well as promoting examples of public security officers and soldiers who wholeheartedly serve the country and the people.
