Quang Binh police set up new task force to enhance crime prevention and fight

PSNews – The Quang Binh Provincial Police Department on December 15 announced the establishment of new task force 141QB and launched a campaign to suppress crimes during the upcoming holidays.

The announcing ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tran Cong Thuat and units of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.

At the event, three new rapid response teams, called task force 141 QB, made their debut. Their duty is to quickly fight and suppress criminals.

The new task force will be fully equipped with special-function means, weapons and supporting tools. Task force 141QB was assigned to perform patrols on key traffic routes, areas 24 hours a day and seven days a week, to promptly prevent, detect and handle all kinds of crimes and acts of law violation, as well as to ensure local security and order, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

At the event, Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tran Cong Thuat praised the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department for this move, urging the local authorities to create the best conditions for the task force to perform their assigned tasks.

Also at the event, the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department launched a campaign to suppress crimes during the Lunar New Year festival and the upcoming anniversaries.
