Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam works with Nghe An police

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Subcommittee for Security of Party Congresses led a delegation to work with the Nghe An Provincial Police Department in September.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department briefed the Deputy Minister and the delegates on the results of the local police forces’ work of ensuring security and safety of Party congresses at all levels, especially the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

The report read that leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department have directed and guided the local police forces to comprehensively implement professional measures to maintain security, social order and safety for the Party congresses at all local levels.

The provincial police have cooperated with relevant local agencies to check the lists of candidates for local Party committees, ensuring that they all met political standards in accordance with the regulations of the Party Central Committee.

After listening to the report, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam highly appreciated the results of the provincial police’s task performance over the past time.

He asked the Nghe An police to continue mobilizing local people to participate in the “All people protect national security” movements and other security models.

The Deputy Minister also suggested the Nghe An police to launch more campaigns against crime, strengthen their State management of security, residence management, and weapon and explosive management.
