Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Quang Binh Police

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 29 visited and worked with the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.  

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quang, Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department, on behalf of the police officers and soldiers of the Quang Binh police force, briefed the Deputy Minister on the unit’s task performance in the first seven months of 2019.

According to Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quang, in the first seven months of 2019, the political security and social order and safety situation in the province has been well maintained.

In particular, the local police force has actively grasped the situation and advised local Party committees and authorities to deal with issues of security and order.

The Quang Binh police also promptly directed local police units to implement synchronous measures to handle issues of security and order, contributing to creating a stable socio-political environment, serving socio-economic development of locality.

Addressing the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and applauded the achievements in the task performance of the officers and soldiers of the Quang Binh Provincial Police in recent times.

Regarding the future working plans, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh urged the Quang Binh Provincial Police to focus on deploying synchronously measures and grasping the local situation, and early detect conspiracies of hostile forces so as to propose appropriate solutions to the situation.

The Deputy Minister also asked each police officer or soldier to be a good exemplary individual in learning and following Six Teachings of Uncle Ho for the Public Security Forces, thereby contributing to raising people’s awareness of national defense and security in the new situation.

The unit should also enhance the quality of its staff-work and firmly maintain political, economic and social stability in any circumstances.
