New Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police appointed

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security on July 1 organized a ceremony to announce  decisions by the Minister of Public Security on personnel of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.

The ceremony saw presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee; and representatives of the local authorities and police units.

As authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security announced the decision on the retirement of Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Police Department, and the decision to appoint Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quan as the new Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.

Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quan has experienced various positions in police units such as Chief Inspector and Chief of the Organization and Personnel Office of the Hanoi Municipal Police, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son emphasized that this appointment was the MPS’s recognition of the efforts and contributions of Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quan to the police force building work and fight against crimes.

The Deputy Minister also asked the newly appointed director to promote the glorious traditions of the Public Security Forces in general and the Quang Binh Police in particular, quickly get used to the work, and promote solidarity with the Party Committee and other leaders of the Quang Binh Police to successfully fulfill his new assigned tasks.

In his swear-in ceremony, Senior Colonel Tran Hai Quang promised to continue to heighten his sense of responsibility, morals and knowledge; proactively grasp the local situation; and work closely with the Party Committee and other leaders of the Quang Binh Police Department to implement key tasks.

He also vowed to inherit and promote the great achievements and glorious traditions of the Quang Binh Police to successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted to him by the Central Party Committee of Public Security, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and leaders and people of Quang Binh province.
