Ninh Binh police take measures to ensure public order and security at Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival

PSNews - The 2019 Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival was officially opened on February 11 in the Tam The Hall of Bai Dinh Pagoda in Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province.

In order to ensure security and order for the opening of the festival and other activities of the 2019 Trang An - Bai Dinh Festive Season, the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department has implemented 5 different plans with the participation of nearly 700 police officers and soldiers.

Earlier, the police force had advised local authorities at all levels on approaches to ensure security and order while coordinating with social organizations in raising people’s awareness of business and tourism culture; at the same time, the local police in coordination with local tourism businesses had drawn up rules and regulations to maintain public order and security and prevent fire, explosions, crime and social problems.

During the festival, the local police were asked to strictly handle violations of regulations on public order and traffic safety as well as acts of theft, fighting, gambling, superstitious activities or robbery.

The local traffic police, mobile police, social order police and fire police along with police forces of districts and cities have been mobilized to guide traffic flows, prevent traffic congestions and handle issues related to security and order at the festival.

Thanks to the joint and effective coordination of police forces in implementing measures to ensure public order and security, the festive activities took place in order and safely on the first day of the festival without robbery, theft or illegal gambling. Meanwhile, prices at the festival were also under control; the traffic order and safety were well maintained with no congestion.
