Police officer posthumously awarded “Bravery” Order

PSNews – The Nghe An Provincial Police Department on March 25 held a ceremony to posthumously award the “Bravery Order” to late Captain Sam Quoc Nghia under the authority of the State President.

Captain Sam Quoc Nghia was a police officer of the Criminal Investigation Team on Crime – Economy – Drugs of the Que Phong District Police Station from 2015.

He was one of the young, skillful, and brave policemen of the local force with much experience in fighting with drug-related crimes.

Police officer Nghia once was honored as one of the 20 outstanding individuals at the Conference of the Emulation Group 8 to honor good people and good deeds in the movement “All people protecting National Security.”

On March 22, Captain Sam Quoc Nghia died while chasing dangerous drug-related criminals.

The death of Captain Sam Quoc Nghia was a great loss for the Public Security Forces, his family, and the people.

In recognition of the police officer’s courage and sacrifice in the fight against crimes, State Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on March 24 signed Decision No. 370/QĐ-CTN on posthumously awarding the Bravery Order to Captain Sam Quoc Nghia.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Nghe An police also awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security to late Captain Sam Quoc Nghia for his outstanding achievements in the fight against crimes, contributing to protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.
