Tra Vinh Police reviews implementation of "3-Good Farmer" model

PSNews - The model "3-Good Farmer" has brought about positive results after 6 months of implementation in 3 districts of Tra Vinh Province, contributing to maintaining social security and safety in localities.

The model was piloted in 3 localities in Tra Vinh Province, namely Soc Giup Hamlet (Long Son Commune, Cau Ngang District), Ba Tay C Hamlet (Tan Son Commune, Tra Cu District), and Lo Co Hamlet (An Truong A Commune, Cang Long District).

Over the last 6 months, the model has been implemented effectively, therefore achieved many fruitful results. During the time, the local functional forces actively held information drive on various types of crimes and social evils, regulations on ensuring traffic safety and environmental sanitation while encouraging people to report crimes to the police, participate in attacking criminals, and protect themselves and their property.

Thanks to the effective implementation of the model, the people have been more aware of maintaining social security and order in locality. Local residents also provided valuable information to the police force about crimes, helping them to crack down on many gambling and robbery cases,  actively engage in cleaning their living environment.

Senior Colonel Kien Rinh, Deputy Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department highly appreciated the initial results of the model implementation, and asked local forces to take more effective measures to raise awareness of local people as well as responsibility of local authorities on the significance of the model and to be ready to replicate it in other localities in the coming time.

He also asked the management board of the model to regularly evaluate and draw lessons from real activities, and praise and reward outstanding examples on time, contributing to maintaining security and order in the province.
