Youth Union of Phu Yen Police assist needy people

PSNews - In response to the Summer Youth Volunteer Movement 2017 launched by the Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union chapter (from June 1st to August 31st), over the past month, the Phu Yen Provincial Police Youth Union chapter has organized many practical and meaningful activities in various localities, leaving a deep impression and good feeling to local people. 

In the past month, Youth Union organizations under the Phu Yen Provincial Police in collaboration with other units built and repaired houses for 3 needy families with a total value of 80 million VND; presented nearly 1000 gifts in cash and confectionery worth nearly 100 million VND to beneficiary families, needy families and poor children with excellent academic grades; completed 2 projects "Light up the countryside" in Ha Rai village (Xuan Lanh commune, Dong Xuan district) and Village 3 (Xuan Hai commune, Song Cau town).

They also held an assumed trial with the aim of popularize laws on prevention of sexual assault against children to people and students of Xuan Quang 3 commune, Dong Xuan district, and a cultural and sport exchange program with local youths.

Besides, Phu Yen young policemen also distributed 1,650 free meals to patients and their relatives at provincial hospitals and nurturing centers.
