On June 18 in Hanoi, the Central Public Security Party Committee held a ceremony to announce a decision of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat regarding personnel appointments. General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security, chaired the event.
Present at the ceremony were also Party Central Committee members and Deputy Ministers of Public Security: Deputy Secretary of the PSCPC Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Standing Board of the PSCPC Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, and Member of the Standing Board of the PSCPC Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc.
At the ceremony, a representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the Secretariat’s decision approving the Chairman, four Deputy Chairpersons, and other members of the Inspection Commission of the PSCPC for the 2025–2030 term.
Accordingly, the Inspection Commission comprises 13 members. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung was approved as Chairman, while four officials were appointed as Deputy Chairpersons, for the 2025–2030 term.
Addressing the ceremony on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated the Chairman, Deputy Chairpersons and other members of the Commission on their appointments.
He emphasized that current inspection and supervision work includes new and honorable responsibilities. It must contribute significantly to fostering a strong spirit of action and promote the determined and effective implementation of throughout the People's Public Security Forces of the Party’s guidelines and the PSCPC’s directions on safeguarding security and maintaining social order to achieve concrete outcomes for the Party and the people.
To fulfill these responsibilities in the new revolutionary period, Minister Luong Tam Quang called on the Commission to well perform its functions as a strategic advisor, while closely supervising, guiding and directing affiliated Party organizations to successfully realize resolutions and decisions of Party committees at all levels guidance, and supervisory role.
He also urged the Commission to innovate its mindset on inspection and supervision work, focusing on preventing violations, upholding responsibility of individuals and organizations, and heightening the spirit of the “Three Bests”: “Most Disciplined – Most Loyal – Closest to the People.”
The Minister requested the Commission to promptly complete and submit the Working Regulations of the Inspection Commission for the 2025–2030 term, assign responsibilities to each member, and develop a project aimed at strengthening Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary work within the People's Public Security Forces during the 2025–2030 period.
The Minister also suggested accelerating digital transformation in inspection and supervision work, with the goal of implementing “data-driven inspection and supervision” by the end of 2026.
Speaking on behalf of the Inspection Commission for the 2025–2030 term, Chairman Le Quoc Hung expressed his gratitude to the PSCPC and the Party Central Committee for their trust in the members of the Committee. He also said that the Commission had comprehended and kept in mind the directions given by Minister Luong Tam Quang.
He pledged that the Commission will follow the Minister’s instructions when performing its functions of advising the PSCPC, and conducting Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary work within the People's Public Security Forces in the coming period.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have always taken the lead in advising, implementing major resolutions and strategic decisions of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government.
He affirmed that the Inspection Commission will thoroughly and strictly implement the regulations and guiding principles of the Party Central Committee and the PSCPC, while upholding the spirit of “loyalty, solidarity, discipline, integrity and effectiveness” to improve the quality of its advisory role and its responsibilities of inspection, supervision and Party disciplinary application throughout the People's Public Security Forces.
