The Inspection Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee convened its first meeting for the 2025–2030 term, in Hanoi on June 23, to discuss approaches to improve the efficiency of Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary execution in the Public Security Forces.
The meeting was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission and Deputy Minister of Public Security.
At the meeting, participants discussed draft documents, including the Working Regulations of the Inspection Commission for the 2025–2030 term, its inspection and supervision program, and the responsibilities of each member.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the draft Working Regulations had been developed in accordance with Party rules and procedures while having inherited the provisions of the former Working Regulation that had proven effective in practice.
Notably, all the provisions of the former Working Regulations that had been found unnecessary, overlapping and ineffective in the execution of Party inspection, supervision and discipline had been deleted.
He stressed that the drafting process should focus on developing measurable criteria, reducing subjective assessments, limiting excessive theoretical content and promoting a more action-oriented approach.
The Deputy Minister also noted that the draft responsibilities of each of the Commission’s members introduces a number of improvements, clearly determining specific individual accountability and tasks.
He requested the Standing Committee of the Inspection Commission to carefully study delegates’ opinions and ideas during finalizing the draft documents before submitting them to the Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee for approval.
Regarding future priorities, Le Quoc Hung urged the commission to clearly identify key tasks, define priorities and develop a scientific roadmap to ensure the successful completion of assigned objectives.
Accordingly, inspection, supervision and disciplinary execution cases under the authority of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the committee itself should be prioritized, while outstanding cases should be resolved in a timely manner.
He also underscored the need to complete ongoing projects and proposals in a high-quality and timely manner, while strengthening professional training to improve the capacity of inspection personnel across the People's Public Security Force.
